Unless you live in a failed state, you pay taxes. The question is, what do you get for those taxes?

I should add one proviso — if you’re one of the ultra-rich, you probably don’t pay taxes because you have great lawyers who know all the loopholes. But regular people everywhere pay taxes.

Just paid mine for the year, 16.4% of my income, and I´m retired.
