This seems like a good arc, maybe we’ll get some fourth wall breaks? I have high hopes for this one.

I have a feeling that the kid being called gregory could be a reference to greg from diary of a wimpy kid. Lets see how this plays out.

Setting my expectations low for this one. It has lots of potential, but with our luck, it’s going to be about Nate’s oversized ego.

I can already tell that this is going to be yet another mediocre/extremely boring arc.

Who is Bailey? And how would he know about Nate? He’s not in middle school. And what admirable features does Nate have? He has basically nothing likeable about him. Well, sometimes he’s kind.

7/10 Incredibly unique arc and this can’t really lead to the same four arc ideas we usually get, so this is an entirely unique arc. It could end up like the, “Detective Nate” arcs.

Wow, Big Nate fan mail! Also when I saw the name Gregory, I almost thought this was gonna be a crossover with Diary of a Wimpy Kid. Then I saw that he was in 3rd grade. That crossover would’ve been doubly awesome though

Best Scenario: Nate Wright discovers that the fan mail was delivered from a different dimension where his life is a comic strip and monitored by countless people across the globe on a daily basis, all while finding out the multiverse of comics :O

Realistic Scenario: Nate Wright discovers that the fan mail was a prank after a very long conversation with Teddy, which by the way stretches for half of the arc. Ends in just one week!

Insane Scenario: heffley?

People are so bad at giving ratings. Sure, this arc may seem original right now, but think about the next strip. I bet they’re just gonna talk about this “fan” for a really long time without even showing them. Strip: 7/10. Arc Prediction: 5/10. If your going to give a rating, at least put some thought into it.

You guys need to chill out and stop “rating” every strip Peirce makes. Sure they might not all be great but the dudes been making strips longer than most of you guys have been alive, give him a break.

My guess? Thinks someone else is Nate Wright and there will be a comeuppance at the end… especially if it is Teddy.

That message’s a bit creepy. Gregory is saying he knows and admires Nate but Nate doesn’t know him?

I hope this is just a prank someone (maybe the principal) is playing on Nate. The last we need is anything that feeds his already overblown ego.

I apologize for the utterly cringe-worthy comment above. This seemed like the perfect type of joke towards a seemingly child-run account.
