It’s called negotiating from a position of strength and intimidation. Doesn’t usually lead to good, long-term peace.

That’ll be thirty days in the brig for an unauthorized sensible question from a seaman.

Come in peace with sailors ready to spend money and party. Be prepared to respond if they say no.

It’s a [Torpedo Boat] Destroyer. The term dates back to the 19th Century.

The original purpose of the destroyer was to counteract submarine warfare.

But since the evolution of the Aegis class with its plethora of armament and ultra-sophisticated electronics, the destroyer has become the all-purpose warship.

A long, long time in the future,

In a galaxy far, far away,

You will learn that the proper term

    Is Forceful Negotiations.

Military peace keeping action is a bit of an oxymoron. Kind of like military intelligence!

Always be polite, friendly and fair, but be sure to carry a big stick. If you appear vulnerable; there are always those that will want to take advantage of you.
