They are always adding new words. Sometimes they add non-words. I don’t think it’s right when I look at the dictionary to find out about a word someone played and it says ’there is no definition for this word, but it is a valid word in Words With Friends.

“Ope” actually is a legitimate word. It’s a poetic form that means “to unlock”. Crossword fans know this word well!

How about “ahmo?” As in, “ahmo go shopping later on,” (I lived in small town Jahjah for several years). :oD

I looked it up. Sounds like an archaism. Apparently Elizabethan English lives on in ND.

Every time I see “ope”, I can’t help but read it as the Greek “Opa!” :D
