Del is trying my patience, as I geninely can’t tell if he’s lying or not. NOt helped by the fact I went back and started at 2018 (i’ll go back father eventually as I do want to see Crunchy’s wedding and his brothers wedding at some point, I just wanted to be caught up on the current status quo, as well as have enough to possibly edit wikipedia to include more recent characters), so not only was Marcus entirely on point with how fast it happened with Delray and Dana, but marcus was THERE for all of it. He got Del back to save his job, tried getting Dana housing (She was pretending to be homeless and has fully atoned for that rich people nonsense at this point), and fully called her on not telling Del the truth. He was there the whole time. He knows how fast your relationship went man.
Dana’s lengthy conversation reminds me when I was deployed “Med” cruises. When we pulled into a port or anchored out, I would hit the beach and go to nearest phone booth. I have enough coins to make a short phone call to my wife back at home in the States and give her the phone # so she could call me back. That way we could save a lot of money because international calls from the U.S. were much cheaper. She’d talk nonstop about what was happening back home while I was gone (She was terrible at sending letters). Of course, I was happy to hear her voice. This was back in day before the internet and email. Mail would arrive on my ship in seven days if we were lucky.

“Well, If you’re only going to talk about her good side…What do you mean, she only has a good side??”

She was talking to herself after Delray lost the signal after “how well” lol. She probably had no idea the whole time the signal was lost.

“Lost her signal”…a likely story, Delray!
