Andy reputation in the banking world is well known, so just providing his name would be more than enough to get him thrown out of the bank.

A friend of mine told me that he was once so broke and destitute that even the cockroaches had moved out before they starved to death.

I’m surprised that every lending institution in Great Britain hasn’t been issued Warning posters with Andy’s name and picture, to hang in their offices.

Once the banker finds out he’s Andy Capp, he’ll call security.

And THAT seals the deal, or in Andy’s case, not.
