Poncho makes a very good simile in panel 3.

Reminds me of that one Calvin and Hobbes Sunday strip where Calvin just complains and complains during his family’s outing at the beach until it’s time to pack up and Calvin mildly asks, “what, we’re going home already?” I’m sure Poncho will ask something like that after Chaz is fed up with Poncho’s complaining.

Poncho would rather just stay put…

Leash time and drag him along. He needs the exercise if he has enough energy to argue like that.

Chazz time to give Poncho a Gibbs Head Check ;-)

All I need to do is say “walk” to my dog.

My dog would be like: “Tree! And look! Another tree! And another tree! Hey, a tree! OMG, all the trees!”

Just tell him you’re going on as zebra hunt.

As dogs go, Poncho doesn’t.

Nobody had to ask. Chaz took the initiative. As my First Sergeant used to say, “Good initiative. Bad judgement.” I sort of heard that a lot.

Dogs love walks. Poncho is truly a weird little dog.

There is “Nature,” and then there is “Wilderness.” If there’s a noticeable hiking path already there, it’s probably just “Nature.” But if it’s a designated campsite with a place to park, it’s probably not even that…
