Yeah, more along the lines of disturbing rather than informative.
Sounds like bill gates
Well, we just recently cracked the 8 billion mark, so overpopulation is indeed something to be concerned about.
Wanna see what kinds of effects we’re having on the rest of nature? Scope out xkcd’s take on it:

Ms Wormwood being sarcastic, it’s weird.
World population in 1992: 5.5 billion.30 years later: 8 billion.
Still my favorite line – “With the grim efficiency of wild dogs…” – what a visual.
aka “velociraptors” in the Spielberg movies.
Stuff it, Wormy. I loved Cal’s story
Thanos AND Calvin were right
nowadays reports like this would trigger some red flags
If this were animated, I’d picture Susie and the kids and the backgrounds being traditional hand-drawn animation, while the deinonychus are CGI!
Deinonychus “terrible claw(s)” in Greek. (I’ll say. That hypertrophied claw on each hind foot must have been for something specific, like disemboweling rivals, but who knows.)
I’m with Calvin
This is what we call “unnatural selection.”
According to Wikipedia, Deinonychus had feathers. I think I prefer Watterson’s version.
