Edwards is trying to substitute tech for conditioning. It won’t get him far, pun intended.

I would enjoy golf more if there were a defensive side. So I’m working on a new game that combines golf with hockey. Feel free to submit ideas for rules.

In a similar, sports equipment vein, Lance Armstrong wrote a book entitled, Its Not About The Bike. At the time, we didn’t know what he really meant.

Do they have drug tests for golfers?

If everyone golfed with the same clubs, shaft length adjusted for player’s height, would we see any change in results? Same for golf balls. In other sports opponents use the same ball … well, except for that instance with T. Brady.

All of the fuel economy devices for cars never offered a hose and catch tank for the overflowing gasoline being saved.

Tennis Pro Vic Braden (RIP) talked about a player breaking a string, then borrowing a racquet from a friend or the pro shop. The guy plays his best game in years, because he has no expectations, relaxes, and lets his game come naturally.

Then he makes the mistake of BUYING that racquet. Now his ego is wrapped up in it and his game goes back into the toilet.

This golfer’s game isn’t going to improve because HIS ego’s wrapped up in it. But the guys in the pro shop are happy.
