Most schools around here (California) have already started. I just looked up the School District of Philadelphia and they don’t start until next Monday the 29th. So I guess the kids do have one more week at camp!
An example of how weird English is: “Emcee” is an elongation of “MC”, which is an acronym for “Master of Ceremonies”. The short form was too short so they had to make it longer!

I would hate to have my kids away at camp the entire summer. Why have kids if you don’t ever want them around?
