Poor Murphy, I hope he doesn’t become a victim of his law!

How (for Christ’s sake) did they get into that in the first place???

For some reason an old commercial jingle comes to mind: “Plop, Plop, fizz, fizz. Oh what a delight it is.”

Did anyone else have trouble with the second panel? It took me a surprisingly long time to figure out that Murph is holding the pool noodle over his head. I thought he was hanging from it, mostly because that body position would never lit him hold it up—he’d flop over on his face immediately, even without standing on the floating ball.

How the heck could a pool noodle hold them up in the first place? AND whit the heck is going on?

Be smart Murphy, throw the stick and then run in the other direction to save yourself. You know the other squirrels would do that to you.

Peekaboo and friends have a bet on who will get Murphy when he comes out of the water after falling…

Way too much responsibility on Murphy. He should just toss the limb and scamper to safety. Peekaboo and her friends (mom and sister?) will not be deterred too much longer….water or no water.

Ah … what is holding up the tree branch? How do keep from falling off?

Pool hogging from predators might be a risky preposition.

As Murphy the Squirrel is the chief instigator of rodent related mischief in this strip, it look like he is getting his just desserts.

He’d do better if the girls were watching.
