One thing I appreciate Lincon Peirce for is the inclusion of football (soccer for you americans out there) in the comics with the characters actually being interested in it, more often than not, American media/entertainment has the knack of ignoring football like it’s some sort of second-rate sport eventhough it’s the most popular sport in the world, so this is good to see.

Did Nate just sacrifice a point to hit Randy? His team’s not going to be happy at him.
7/10 Great Sundays as usual.

OOF, right through the netting! Randy is definitely gonna be watching the game with multiple facial injuries like in the drawing panel.

serves him right, he shouldn’t have relied on Nate saving him from those soccer balls. especially since he kept mocking him.

Why would anyone stand behind a goal? That’s asking for it.

smooth and savage move there Nate!

This is beautiful. Im not even joking the way Nate saves the ball in first panel with such ease, it beautiful to witness.

I thought this was a Sunday rerun for the second week in a row, but I noticed it’s a new 2022 Big Nate Sunday strip.

Randy totally earned that one. Though I wouldn’t expect a 6th grader to use the word “sieve” properly.
