Saw two used Lambos at a “toy store” about 12 years ago. Even then, it was “20% down plus tax and license, and your payments are under $3000 per month.” Uh, no thanks.
Can’t believe the author went there. Does he really believe the old NCAA BS? Some young talent goes to a University and then blows out his knee, the university just kicks him to the curb. Talent deserves to get paid.
I always thought college athletes, particularly football and basketball players, should be treated as semi-pros and not as college students. Have them sign a contract for the school of their choice and if they actually want an education also, let them pay for it like the rest of the students. Treat them as contract employees of the school, not as students. Give scholarships to students earning the grades, and if that happens to be an athlete, so much the better.

Actually, watching him attempt to get into, or out of, a Lambo would pretty entertaining.

So many things could go wrong. Like the players spending their money on stupid things that they don’t know the value of.

Colleges aren’t in the business of educating people anymore.
