The AC here in my brother’s house is on so high that it feels like winter indoors!!

If the summer solstice is midsummer, and it is, then the autumnal equinox is mid autumn…. Our modern calendar, with all our technological knowledge, is off on this point.

winter is coming

i’ll take the heat for as long as it lasts. winter here kicks off with screaming gales and stinging hail before settling into nearly daily snowfalls. accompanied by screaming gales. finally in january the gales depart, but the snow remains. not a lot, just enough to be irritating. every da.mn day…

Was going to say I’m bored with this theme again, but then I noticed it’s a 2018 re-run.

I don’t talk about winter as much as Katy does, becauze I think I’d get the same reaction she’s getting. But, otherwize, I totally agree with her.

Diggin’ what appears to be the shimmer of her black velvet clothes. Plush Goth. Some black nail polish and exaggerated eye liner would be a nice touch.

Winter is this outdoor persons favorite season, hands down. No heat, humidity, pollen, bugs. No roots and rocks to hike over and less tourists. What’s not to love?
