uh … been there done that and .. realized I don’t have much of good or best shrug

I think I’d rather be bailed out, thank you.

A real friend shows up with bail money in his pocket and two shovels in the trunk.

A good friend helps you move. A best friend helps you move the body.

A good friend will tell you look fine when you don’t. A great friend will tell you that you look bad, and then suggest chocolate ice cream therapy.

I once read that the difference between a good friend & a best friend is this; a good friend will commiserate with you over a bad friend, whereas a best friend will skip merrily along side you, swinging a bat & singing “Somebody’s gonna get it!!!”. When I told that to my gentle, sweet, kind “BFF” (almost 55 years now) she laughed so hard she choked & said “Sure thing!”

YEP!!! I was exceptionally lucky in my choice of BFFs ♥ All 3 have all passed away now, taking their handcuffs with them. However, they left me with fantastically fun memories. I sure miss my partners in “crime”.
