Apparently, I saw this differently than most of you, maybe because I am female. I thought Red meant health, and then with a look from Rover, meant we are healthier with our dogs around, too! I think I like what I saw better.
Myself, I saw it first as “health isn’t everything; the mutual love between Red and Rover is just as (or maybe more) important" and then I saw it as “I’m missing something down there”.

neutered dogs are prone to diabetes and other diseases. which is why my Schnauzer dog whose breed is also prone to diabetes is not fixed.
