So thus a gambling ring has ensued.. which.. yeah sounds about right. And of course it’s not in sight. If they DO actually have one (Which like our heroes I doubt), they aren’t going to keep it on sight during regular play. You wheel that out for the championship bout son. Otherwise one of those kids is just gonna steal it. I mean this is an underground magic the gathering gambling ring. You don’t keep this going with just the earnest dorks like our heroes. There has to be some shady nerds in these halls.

When you start playing for money is when you realize that you aren’t nearly as good at your chosen game as you thought you were.

She lost $5 in the time it took Dean to say that stuff in panel 2? I have no frame of reference for how fast these types of card games go. Tho if it’s like Blackjack, I’m surprised she didn’t lose more.

Kids betting on their own games? That seems pretty illegal.
