I have a hunch this show will flop.

Oh, the local and national news in a nutshell.

Fox News is a good example!!

People would rather believe a lie that they agree with than the truth which they may find uncomfortable. Somehow they manage the capability for self-delusion (helped along by talking head commentary) to accept this alternate reality.

This is one of the reasons I like to read Calvin and Hobbs. It brings me back to my childhood where I lived in a world as I wished it was instead of the world as it actually is.

They will play a half hour of screen doors slamming if they can sell the commercial time.

The topic must be either UFO’s or election fraud. Which have a lot in common.

Sooo … the regular news program?

Lead time for comic strips being what it is, this is probably a reference to a bit of testimony from the January 6 hearings in late June.

Arizona House Speaker Rusty Bowers was recalling Rudy Giuliani, as Trump’s lawyer, asserting that there had been massive election fraud, the reported results were wrong, and Trump had really won the 2020 presidential election. Bowers had noted the lack of evidence of significant voter fraud, and had pressed Giuliani and the rest of Trump’s team for any kind of proof of those claims.

Bowers quoted Giuliani as saying, ″We’ve got lots of theories, we just don’t have the evidence."

Giuliani has not denied having said that.

Ascribe whatever bias you wish to the media, but this is a matter of record.

This is every “news” show now. Every story has to have comments from someone affected be whatever news item is being covered.

That guy does look like Tuckhead Carlson.

Someone with no facts or proof? Must be someone on ONN talking about elections.

Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’m trying to watch the show! lol. :)
