“A screaming comes across the sky” is the first line of Pynchon’s Gravity’s Rainbow. What a nice thing to wake up to. Well, that and Breezy making an appearance.
While I’m sort-of glad I was correct about the bigger, badder suit, I am relieved about Breezy making a surprise rescue. Good to know our Dan Thompson is still full of surprises. That’s why I love this strip.
For anyone wondering how Breezy can pilot a miliitary jet when she’s only been shown previously flying cargo planes and civilian turboprops: Breezy can hit womprats in her T-16 and they’re only 2-meters across.

Question comes to mind, how did Breezy know Rip was going to Scorpion HQ, and, know a timely missile from that plane she’s piloting would be of use?

Gee… I wonder if Scorpion’s suit comes with a compartment for his meds. It looks like he’ll be needing them.

Who cares? Just read it and enjoy and stop analyzing it. Some of you people can suck all the fun out of the air.

Breezy got a whole Rhonda Fleming, Susan Hayward, with just a touch of Lauren Bacall vibe going today.
