Just for fun I tried to translate a phrase to Klingon, and I have to say the translation of the phrase “What she says is truth” does sound pretty impressive in Klingon—Nuqjatlh ghah says is vit.

Poor Agnes! Her teacher knows just the right questions to grill her.

Gotta feeling this arc will end with Agnes in the principal’s office!!

Every language has phrases that sound impressive and exotic. But, I’m of the opinion that thinking everything written in a particular language sounds impressive and exotic is a sign of not speaking that language very well. Ordinary, everyday statements sound less impressive the more familiar you get with the language.

I like her teacher.. She hasn’t sent her to the principal yet. She seems to be letting a little of Agnes imagination come out.
