Yes . . I can fully see why it would possibly do just that.. I was once a dishwasher for DoubleTree Hotel and it was the absolute worse job I’ve ever had.. I would not wish it upon anyone..

Dishes were his demise. It’s still not clear if he was changing the station on the radio with one hand in the sink, Or he was electrocuted using the dishwasher. (Actually his wife was fed up with him not loading the dishwasher ‘the right way’. )

My late loving wife used to love when the dish fairy(me) came. It isn’t the same now, even though I still do the dishes.
