I vote for the bowling.

Assuming that there is a fast food cart ON the sidewalk, the former may be acceptable. Or, if you are removing yourself from the sidewalk to a convenient bench. Otherwise, the bowling will likely be your best bet. Go for that seven-ten. If you have the time and all, both will be okay, negating the need to choose.

The way I first heard it from Robert Wingfield (R.I.P.) c. 1980 was “kill myself or go bowling,” but this works too.

Some of the best comments on Frog Applause are the lamest. Maybe it’s because there are no hifalutin standards or expectations to shoot for. Takes the pressure off.

Rarely, perhaps, but in this case definitely, bowling is better! Germs, you know; I am not one of the anti-fast food fanatics. I just don’t buy the Five Second Rule when it comes to public sidewalks Ick!

Besides, the local bowing alley will probably have a food service, so you can get your needs for food there, before, during, or after bowling a few lines….
