ah, good ol’ Life Alert

I could have used one of those after my knee surgery. Was given instructions for physical therapy to do at home, on the floor! When I was done of course I wasn’t able to get back up and I was home alone. Had to butt scoot over to the couch and eventually got myself up off the floor. Tru story!

Those things save lives.

Thank God.

Wise pluggers learn not to push other people’s buttons too much.

We got one of these for my FIL who manages to fat-finger it almost every time he takes it off or puts it on, bless his heart…

My grandmother had one of those many years ago for the Assisted Living Home she lived at. She kept forgetting to put it on and complained no one would come when she needed help. Good thing my folks had her on a 6 hour welfare check schedule with the Home.

I got myself an Apple watch for the “Did you fall” feature. This way, I can ride my horses alone and not have to worry about loosing or falling on my phone and I can still be found : ) . Worth every penny to me.

I know these are essential for many, and my mother had one, but, all I can think of is the “Help I’ve fallen and can’t reach my beer!” tee shirts.

If the instructions are like the last ones I received, she’s also going to need a magnifying glass to read them.
