Woodstock is a sentimental bird.

As long as he doesn’t save his droppings.

Things could be worse. I have a friend whose cousin’s mother saved the baby’s first haircut locks and the first baby toenail clippings! She had the toenail clippings bronzed and plans to give it to the boy on the sixteenth birthday as a sentimental present!

At least you didn’t crack up about the shell.

Don’t let Gunsmoke’s Chester get a hold of those shells … they’ll wind up in the morning coffee .

No stranger than saving baby teeth

Birds and reptiles do actually save the eggshells that they hatched from.

I put eggshells in the compost.

Doesn’t everyone have a piece of their umbilical cord?

Anyone still have their baby teeth or pacifier?

Now it’s Snoopy’s turn – show Woodstock his collection of toenail clippings. They are probably downstairs, around the frame of his van Gogh painting.

Somebody will be a collector of anything you find in the world. People collect some weird stuff.

I’d say “well done, bird”, but we know Woodstock has an unhealthy attachment to his mom (from a bird kingdom perspective). He probably reassembles the egg pieces at night and sits in them to pretend he’s still with his mom.

No weirder then people saving their umbilical cords.

You’re just jealous Snoopy that dogs don’t have something like that to save.
