there are some things that I can’t get past the smell of – so no won’t eat them. don’t care who likes rotten lye-soaked fish, nope. don’t care who likes rotten cabbage, nope. don’t care who likes……….. get the picture? for me it’s the nose that knows no matter what the tongue might say later.

That should be a clue to mom that Ruthie just might be watching way to much TV
