I loved Clinton’s Cafateria in Los Angeles. They had a pirate chest full of toys and you got to pick one out. For free. And I could have turkey and mashed potatoes all year round.

So being cheap while not appearing to be cheap, then?

Nick did take her to a good restaurant. Maybe less expensive but in the beginning who has a lot of money?

In many smaller restaurants, the portions not only look larger, they actually are larger.

Is that why they did it for the first time in the back seat of a car?

My wife and I have different recollections of how I proposed. The only thing we agree on is that it happened in an airport. (Pretty romantic, I know.)
