The perfect shirt for her.

Ruthie is a visionary. When we lived in Bloomington, IN, the public library near IU had toys available to “check out”. That was pre-Covid, so I don’t know if they still offer the option. It was wonderful to be able to rotate through great educational toys without spending a fortune and accumulating lots of “stuff”!

I think the librarian at our local library read this strip. They have a loose leaf folder of items you can borrow. Looked through it one day; one of the items is a metal detector.

I think my parents would have agreed with the fifth panel.

I agree about icky food, especially broccoli and the seat on top of the car would have been AWESOME++

My town has a toy library.

When I’m imagining I usually have to stop and ask “Did I say that out loud?”
