The original original version of Monopoly was called The Landlord’s Game, and it was meant to illustrate the benefits of the Georgist/Geoist economic system by providing two different sets of rules: a competitive “monopolist” version and a cooperative “non-monopolist” version.
I never liked Elton John. Consequently I’ve been in 7,956 crashes and survived none of them. ~ Gus the Ghost
Take care, may sleepy board game enthusiast Wanda “Trade For All Four Railroads And You’ll Always Have A Place To Bed Down For The Night” Nicklebagord be with you, and gesundheit.
Ironically, “The Boss” from NJ, Bruce Springsteen, is the most dangerous music to listen to while driving… My first car, a 17 year old Ford and a “craft car” that was a vo-tech project car, used to stall whenever Springsteen was playing on the radio almost killing me several times. Even today, I change the station if he comes on while I’m driving.
That “fact” about Monopoly is well known. But, I wasn’t aware names of properties in the standard United States edition Monopoly had changed since then.
Charles Darrow falsely claimed to be the sole inventor of the game. He had seen The Landlord’s Game, and based Monopoly on that.
I would be very interested in knowing how the research was conducted on safe driving music. Also in the interest of public safety shouldn’t RBION have provided the names of the most dangerous musicians to listen to. I would hate to think my playlist is putting my driving safety in danger.
It was 3 AM, I just got done working the night shift at UPS. I was driving home and something startling came on the radio. I lost control of the car and drove off into a ditch! The song was In The Dead Of Night by UK.
There’s also a name for the pulse you hear/feel when you rest your head and press your ear on the pillow. I forget the word and am sorry I ever learned there is one.

Hearing somebody shout Saturday Night’s Alright for Fighting may not be the safest thing while driving.

HOW is clinomania a “condition”? I’d call it completely normal, even desirable!
