Seems Andy owes a few rounds to some jurors

He’s probably awakened more than one of them with his “singing” in the middle of the night.

in Andy’s case, they are just saving time!

This has to be fake. Is there a court in all of Great Britain that would allow the defendant to wear his hat during a trial?

I’ve been reading Andy for decades and it just struck me. has ANYONE seen Andy without his cap?

The jury is in such a habit that they cannot help it.

I sort of thought that a “jury of your peers” for Andy would be other “deadbeats, drunks, and layabouts”. Why would they be upset with Andy?

It’s impossible to assemble an impartial jury in Hartlepool!!

The jury wanted to save time & the realm money. Surely His Majesty’s Justice system has better things to do.

When Andy is a defendant, he is guilty until proven innocent. Just way too much of a track record.

It’s Andy. Why the trial?!?!

(To paraphrase,somewhat); Hang the guilty Buzzard then we will give him a fair trial.

He’s a well known man about town.

But the jury already knows Andy.

Gotta be old hat stuff – Since court don’t wig those silly wigs anymore. Andy surely has a medical or religious waver to wear his hat at all time.

Why it Mr Capp, with his many years of service to the court and his age,we granted him certain liberties. God save the king!

Is the artist British? In the UK judges do not wear the same kind of wig as the lawyers.
