I still wear a mask in the medical clinics and Walmart and similar crowded stores, especially with cold and flu season coming on. Too many kids (and adults for that matter) that were never taught to cover their mouth when they cough. Then there is the snot wiping on the cart handles and sides.
My mother had to have dentures by the time she was in her thirties. I am 69, and, thanks to fillings and crowns, still have 30 of my 32 teeth. I lost two as a teenager because my parents didn’t believe in taking their kids to the dentist for a simple toothache.
Now, if they could be convinced to cover their nose. Same nasal cavity, same lungs as the mouth uses (or so I was told in fifth grade) so the same path for germs and viruses to use as a highway to the rest of us.

I’ve a dental appointment this coming Monday & they still request I mask up (of course I asked when they called to confirm the appointment is a go).

I still wear mine in certain situations, but am happy when I can go without, as it’s easier to wear my hearing aids.

Here we wear masks because of the Cedar Creek fire just one mile away! 2 1/2 months and they say it’ll be another 2 1/2 months!
