On the advice of my primary care person at the VA clinic, I stopped drinking sodas, especially diet sodas, and dropped 45 pounds. Lately Diane has been helping by limiting portions of my favorite foods, i.e., Caesar salad, medium-rare steak, and Tater Tots. My 40-inch pants are becoming baggy-assed, so it may be time to move down to 38X32. I weighed myself yesterday, and it was just under 190. I weighed 175 when I graduated from USAF basic training in 1967! My fatigue pants then were 32X32.
Why is Opal catering to Earl? I never could understand why women do this with men. I think if she left Earl decide for himself a few times, there would be a difference in their marriage.
Affluent folk are all victims of the clock whether we admit it or not. We eat because it’s time.. or we are bored. Seldom does hunger initiate a desire to eat.
Very smart Grandma. For me I do not get what is called hunger, And since I am less active except what I need to do for therapy including assigned and outdoors. I cut back on my food. I have very little thyroid and metabolism has to be kicked started. Back in May after my accident, I decided to cut back more on food. I am still healing, with no cast or surgery where my left hip is concerned from fracture to bone break, forced me to do that. almost 6 months later I am still using a walker, now I go for out patient therapy. I had to go to Dr. and found out working lost 3 more pounds, my sister states she sees it, me not certain. I do know I can wear my original wedding ring for 30 years I could not. I went in for sinus upper nasal and that is different. I still have pain left hip and leg.

Opal. It won’t do much good. The official ‘fall back’ set the clocks back is rapdily approaching.

usually you’d have to wait until November’s first Saturday before retiring for the night to set the clocks back an hour

I’m hungry pretty much all the time. I just don’t (usually) give in unless it’s a meal time.
Not “starving” hungry. It’s pretty much a constant state of “peckish”.

It’s best for digestion to eat and pick all day, small amounts, than to gouge yourself three times a day!

Time controls many things, right Earl?

Too soon to do that. He must be part German, so simply ask him for a copy of his time-schedule list.

We rarely eat regular “meals” anymore. We sorta just graze through the day.

A Native friend once commented that he didn’t understand people who needed a clock to tell them when they were hungry.
