I love Janis’ statement….two reasons are as most of us figure (Passion…Get Lucky…so on) and the second we all get to a point in life that our spouse may not be with us….and all those little aggravating things were not that big of a deal.
having a sleep disorder requiring sleep meds, that is my life. My husband gets up at 4 am (he works 5 am to 5 pm) and goes to bed at 8 pm. I don’t until Midnight.
The Amish have an expression “kissing wears out, cooking doesn’t”.
This is why there needs to be a bigger reason to be together than bed to be together. Over the decades medical conditions come and go – but true love remains.

Then let him know that you appreciate him a little more often. As his wife, you should know the best way to do it…..

At least she gets to kiss him goodnight. My sister’s husband of 41 years passed suddenly last week and now she’s sleeping alone.
