The pasta sauces look the same to me

Wife sent me to the grocery for an emergency jar of spaghetti sauce. Holy chit – couldn’t believe all the varieties. I just closed my eyes and picked one. She said thanks, that’s the one I wanted.

Just get crushed tomatoes, and season it up the way you like it.

G’s got a point… choices have become so overabundant they’re now a major problem

Make your own. 1 small can of tomato paste + can of water, add salt, pepper, garlic and onion powder, Italian seasoning, add mushrooms if desired. Cheaper and tastes better.

Garfield! It’s not your money, buy one of each and try them all. Jon will pay.

If they’re getting pasta sauce, does this mean that Jon is gonna make lasagna, after not seeing him make it in so long?

It’s not his fault they have 43 versions between 15 different brands. (and 7 are on sale!)

This is like when he measured lasagna on 5/21/1982.

Garfield, just buy the frozen lasagna, heat and serve and repeat. So much simpler. Remember who will be making the lasagna.

I’ll take one from column A, one from column B,……..

Because of the weight that I have to carry home from the store is an issue, I prefer plastic containers over glass. This works ok with booze, but very few choices in the tomato sauce aisle, probably due to the acidic nature of it interacting with the plastic.

I’m surprised that shopping cart is not collapsing from Garfield’s weight.

Pick the best sauce for that lasagna. I prefer meat flavor for a great and tasty lasagna.
