When we found the beef and liver flavored toothpaste for dogs, brushing their teeth became slightly less of a chore, but it did help with their breath.
Just last night, my son and I were talking about Finnegan’s teeth and breath. He’s 9 years old, and still has completely neutral breath, and teeth so white and healthy that our Vet has commented on it. I credit it to what we feed him —Science Diet kibble and also vegetables — he likes broccoli and bagged coleslaw the most. His treats are mostly the type designed to keep teeth clean, and he loves his chew toys.
