The tradition of removing leaves puzzles me. It is far better use them properly, as leaves are important in the cycle of life. Polinators and other beneficial insects thrive when leaves and natural habitats are maintained. Look at what is happening to monarch butterflies. It is tragic that we are poisoning our lawns, destroying habitats, all so they can have a certain cosmetic look.
