Getting ready for Boo at the Zoo!

We had a rescued Doberman that my wife trained to be her seizure alert dog. He loved people and she’d take him to the vet periodically for a paw-dicure to socialize him. It was the “Cookie Factory” to him and he would hand the vet techs his paw like “Do Me!” Got to the point that the techs would fight over whose turn it was to trim his paws.

Looks like he nailed her.

The Werecats are worse!

This is kind of what it feels like when we trim our cat’s claws. Our vet won’t do it unless the cat is under general anesthesia, and you can guess what that would cost. Most of the time we come away unscathed, but we’re always worn out by it.
