I know this isn’t specifically a man’s or a woman’s task, but … Come on man – you’re still a man. Having a manicure doesn’t mean that your cured of being a man – You can still (at least) get in there and help.

I must be old school. My wife has had a flat or two over the years. I dropped what I was doing to go to her and take care of it. Now, even though I have some health issues, I would get up from death bed and go fix it for her. I might drop over after it was done, but it would get done. Now, having said that, each time I did it, it was a teaching experience and I explained to her (and our daughters) what I was doing and why, just in case I couldn’t move the high water to be there and they had to do it without me.

Who spends $80 on a manicure?! Is that what they really cost? Anyone?

My wife does her own nails and I do all the automotive chores.
