I caught a terrible cold (or maybe even flu) a day after sitting beside a runny-nose lady while we were both waiting for our annual flu shots. (This was before Covid.) First time I’d ever had a flu shot.

The lesson today is, if you are being executed by guillotine, insist that they disinfect the blade and frame before you will consent to its use.

Your rhinestone bras should normally be safe, if not worn outside the home.

The thought of cold rhinestone baubles and beads swaying to and fro gives me chills…when it hits the skin, it feels like mini guillotine blades running up and down my spine….oooooo baby!

Fascinating trivia, to be sure, but for me irrelevant, as I do not wear rhinestone bras and have not yet had a date with Lady Guillotine.

Cold viruses? I harrumph in your general direction….
