We are a nation founded on immigration. So immigrants are fine. However, . . . there are rules and laws governing immigration. They should be followed and enforced. To the letter. And if they are not what we want, the laws and rules should be changed by those who are charged with that charter so that we may do things in a lawful manner. I don’t understand why that’s such a hard concept to grasp. The great unwashed are ruled by emotion and ‘what they want.’ The lawmakers are ruled by greed and lust for power and ‘what they want.’ Until that changes, nothing will change. I weep for my country and what might have been.

Better translation for “Quiet, stupid.” would have been “Cállate, estúpido.” Quietar is more used in the sense of “calm down” physically.
