As our neighborhood, including the children, aged, there were fewer visits and we gradually just let the night pass without bothering with either decorations or lights. Kinda miss it, but ’tis the way of things, and we go with it. Notice last year or two, lots of cars with kids showed up and worked the area. Not the same as seeing and chatting with parents and the kids we know.

To Nelson’s credit, he poured the sweets without even trying to choose… This boy looks too good for his own good.

Interesting that Nelson used a pillowcase to collect the candy…
Geophyzz over 2 years ago
We used pillowcases back in the 50s, when we would get heavy stuff like fruit or even a bottle of pop. Happy Halloween y’all!

I used to go through my kid’s pillow cases and take out the bad candy. Neither of them like Reece’s peanut butter cups to this day. ♪♪♪♪♪

My grandfather used to ask for ten percent of our candy at Halloween.
