Back in 1992, I could not pay the Republican Party to listen to my opinion. When I demanded a response to my comments in exchange for a signature on the enclosed check, they kept sending the check back with no other comment other than “sign the check.”
If they would not listen to me BEFORE the election, I knew that they would pay even less attention after the election without a bribe.
I finally sent them a check with all kinds of obscenities written on it and a note to be removed from their mailing list. I got it back with a note: “For your records.” That ended it for the time.
Now I live in a mostly white, affluent neighborhood and get radical right wing propaganda all the time. Back in 1992 I used to be a Republican. at least officially. I wonder what happened to that party.
I’m used to this kind or charitable ploy. The one I find even more frustrating is places, especially online, who let you sign petitions for causes you support and insist on your including your email address. If you are unlucky enough to sign one of these, you will be inundated with email from them and those who buy email lists from them.
If the outer envelope says something like “Please fill out our survey” or “We want your opinion,” and if they include a postpaid return envelope, I fill out the survey, write “no, thanks” at the request for money, and send it back in the return envelope. If they wanted my money so badly, they should have put “Please send us money” on the outer envelope; then I’d know I could throw it unopened into the recycling bin.

Is the one speaking a poodle or a sheep?
For sheep, the survey asks “Who’s been a baaad boy/girl?”
and “Who’s been baaad?” and “Who’s been very very baaad?”

Wouldn’t some of the questions be: “Is it you? Is it you?”

Like those political “survey’s” …tells you what you want to hear and then asks for the donation
