… I saw him dancin’ there by the record machine

I knew he must’ve been about seventeen

    The beat was goin’ strong

    Playin’ my favorite song

An’ I could tell it wouldn’t be long

’Til he was with me, yeah me

And I could tell it wouldn’t be long

‘Til he was with me, yeah me, singin’

    … I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So come an’ take your time an’ dance with me

… He smiled, so I got up and asked for his name

“But that don’t matter”, he said, it’s all the same

Said, “Can I take you home where we can be alone?”

An’ next we were movin’ on

And he was with me, yeah me

    Next we were movin’ on

And he was with me, yeah me, singin’

    … I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So come an’ take your time an’ dance with me

… Said, “Can I take you home where we can be alone?”

An’ I could tell it wouldn’t be long

’Til he was with me, yeah me

    And he’ll be movin’ on

An’ singin’ that same old song

    Yeah, with me, singin’

    … I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So come an’ take your time an’ dance with me

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So come an’ take your time an’ dance with

    … I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So come an’ take your time an’ dance with

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

So come an’ take your time an’ dance with

    … I love rock ‘n’ roll

So put another dime in the jukebox, baby

    I love rock ‘n’ roll

For the longest time, I thought these were the actual lyrics…

“Sgt. Pepperoni’s Hearts Club band” vs “Sgt Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club band”

“Midnight after you’re wasted” vs “Midnight at the Oasis”

“I can see all ice cycles in my way” vs “I can see all obstacles in my way”

There was a man in the 1920s in the SF Bay Area who developed a candy bar that was made of nougat, marshmallow, nuts and a little fudge enveloped in chocolate. His daughter, Annabelle, said it reminded her of a rocky road. Mr Edy and his business partner, Mr Dreyer, were in the ice cream business in Oakland and were looking for new flavours. One day they went shopping, looking for something new. They came across the Rocky Road candy bar. After a taste test of the bar and a small batch of ice cream they contacted the candy bar inventor, and developed Rocky Road Ice Cream.
