Gee, mom, I didn’t realize you’d decided on a career as a life coach.

guess what, I’ve became a physicist and I didn’t want to be one

But Mum, I’ll still need good hand-eye skills to be a high-priced contract killer.

I never said i didn’t want basketball as a career. Whatever gave you that idea.

Because it’s fun and good exercise.

Just because I play Army doesn’t mean I want to be a soldier. I’d rather be a Marine. Semper Fi!

sad how many see things should be like this – no hobbies, no experiences. just focus on the job.

The job is meant to help pay for a life, to support doing these other things that are fun but you can’t do them professionally, like music or acting – community theater doesn’t pay the bills, and jamming with an irish session can be expensive if you love a good stout (and have a designated driver), but they are FUN…but to keep able to do them requires you keep practicing.

Many who “decide it’s the career they want” will later on discover that it’s not going become anything that any team would pay them for.

Because no one will let me practice brain surgery…
