A place where I used to live sold an āEverything except pineapple and anchovy pizzaā. I would order it and ask them to add the pineapple. So good but toppings would fall everywhere.
Ideally a pizza should only have four toppings max, including tomato sauce and cheese. The problem with more than that is the taste becomes muddled and you canāt savor the individual toppings. Taste conglomeration is not civilized nor refined. Having said that, I have a weakness for a certain pizza chainās Meat Loverās pizza, which has a mind-blowing six types of meat! A carnivoreās delight. And if that isnāt decadent enough, I add green peppers and olives! Oh, the humanity.
There is a local pizza place that has a 24" pizza and when my late loving wife and I ordered it, it had to go into the back hatch because the doors didnāt open wide enough. It was one of the few pizzas that had a sauce that didnāt upset her stomach.
Iām reminded of a local pizza joint I used to patronize near Laurel, MD when I was stationed nearby in Ft. Meade back in ā73 called Bambinoās. They had a loaded pizza with topping nearly an inch thick with a top cheese layer. I could the entire pizza at one sitting when I still had hollow legs. ;-p

This pizza, like any buffet, is not based upon being good food, rather it is based upon cleaning out the walk-in cooler.
