Day after day, the whining about gas prices. Oil is a finite commodity. Every drop taken from the ground is one drop less. Supply will inevitably constrict, prices will rise, and new technologies must address our transportation and other needs. The oil age is is less than two centuries old. It will not last much longer.
It’s very simple really. When Demand is high, limit Supply. It’s only good sense when taxes on profits are at an all-time low. Gouging the Consumer is, after all, The American Way!
Let’s see. The listed prices are 91.9, 89.9, and 87.9. If those are prices per litre, then that is a great bargain right now. If that’s for gallons, then why is anybody complaining?
The Republicons are in bed with the big oil companies. Think their going to do anything with high gas prices? They’ll just keep blaming Biden. They never have any real solutions, except to blame everyone else.
Gas prices here in Dayton, OH just went up $.50 a gallon. Is it coincidence that this is just a week before the elections so that it can be blamed on the Democrats?

First, gas has been higher in Europe for years. People have coped. Second, buy an EV. Love my Nissan Leaf.

Will it be enough to trade your Democracy for? The Oil companies are loving the record profits while getting none of the blame.

Euro per litre? That’s either $33 a gallon or $3.30 per gallon (depending on where the decimal point is) which it seems to be here locally.
