Here’s the kid wanting to do something educational and not staring at his phone and she’s acting like a complete a$$.

OK, so it was a bit of a snarky thing for Betty to do, but if she gave a normal math problem, there wouldn’t be anything funny. Besides, many of our inner 5 year olds would want to do this, just our grown up selves wouldn’t say it outloud.

I don’t blame him for being miffed, but in my day, “idiotic” would have been a strong word to use to your mother in that context.

I just read back what I wrote, and realized how old it makes me sound (and feel).
