What would anyone have to gain from arguing with what they are?

sure is difficult, isn’t it?

Being cool is subjective. Anyone can think anyone else is cool.

Like me, Max suffers from Impostor Syndrome.

If this comic ever gets to when Phoebe and Max are 16, will they be dating?

That is kind of sweet though

So I just imagine him telling his moms that he and Phoebe had a brief argument where she insisted on him being cool.

And they tease that they have wedding invites readyXD.

You’re the max, Max! To Phoebe anyway!

I find myself relating to Max more and more.

I’m worried that Phoebe’s teacher might take Max’s side on this one. She should make sure to explain her choice clearly and convincingly in the paper.

I suspect this’ll come back to haunt Phoebe as embarrassing when she’s older. Max will still be cool with it tho.

Unexpected admiration like this does tend to be that way.
