Eh… we just move the animal if we really need what he’s sitting or lying on (or in). Plus we don’t allow him to lie on clothing or our bed at all. Exception of course is our laps. He knows the rules and has his favorite places, mainly a paper shopping bag on the floor right next to the $145 multilevel cat tree I got him. :oD
There are stories of famous people who cut off a sleeve of a garment rather than disturb a sleeping cat. We learned to not set garments out to prevent tha cats from taking napped on them. That does not always work. The urge to nap is greater than the urge to hunt.

Whether on your favorite sweater, or on the bed(always in the middle or on the pillow), it is impossible to move a cat.

I’ve had days like that.
I’ve also had days when I’ve thought about how easy it is to throw a cat out of the way.

Just curious, has Dan not “legally “ adopted any of the cats judicially so that he could become Daddy Dan? Just some whimsy here.

Run the can opener. Abscond with the Cardigan while are in the kitchen fuming and formulating suitable revenge for faking them out.

I am a lawyer.
I do not own a cardigan (gray or otherwise) .
I feel … inadequate.

I would be reluctant to move a cat from anything they were comfortably lying on. Speaking from experience.
