Even though I think Mabel is messing with Cathy, this has been happening more lately as stores have been struggling to hire workers. And it doesn’t help that customers seem to have gotten ruder, so no one wants to help them. Be nice, everyone!

The music in those clothing stores now is just crazy. It’s like what they play to break down the will of beseiged terrorists. All I want to do is get out of there as quickly as possible. No wonder the staff is surly.
Our small local stores tend to give excellent service – unless there are more customers in the store than there are staff but that is understandable. The big stores like Walmart and Canadian Tire it is a real challenge to even find a staff member let alone get them to help you.
