@Number Three Today’s Strip IS funny, if it wasn’t for bad luck our HERO Mr Andrew Capp would have no luck at all :o) my avatar is a picture of my birth sign Leo roaring because he’s in a good mood like I am, How was your day? our Manic Monday Should be busy as usual , but we should cope I hope , we are both in a fairly good mood but still missing our cat Bella who went to kitty heaven and we buried her in our back garden otherwise we have no shopping or errands to run Just stay inside the house and keep hydrated till his evening when the greengrocer van comes up our street , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady

I wonder if Andy could sit on a corner with a sign. The sign saying instead of “Alms for the poor”, would say “Beer for the Ale-ing”.

Andy justifies the phrase :“You make your own luck”. Without the terrible credit and money mismanagement, this could have been a friendly meeting at the corner.

Andy will have to take out a loan to pay the debt collector and hopefully have enough left over for a round of pints.

There has been construction going on in this town (Hartlepool?) since at least 1965 when I started reading this strip. Is it the same building?

Well, from the expression on their faces, it looks like the pair round the corner aren’t having very good luck either, and I really doubt that Andy will be bringing a ray of sunshine into their lives either.
